"Here" or "there" are often used in addition
to "this", "that", "these", or "those".
"This" and "these" are used with "here" to
indicate that something is close to the speaker. "That" and
"those" are used with "there" to indicate that something is
away from the speaker. Oftentimes "there" is used as "over
there" to further explain that the object they are referring to is far
away from the speaker.
