Level 3 = (Adverbs) Question words #1

 

Interrogative adverbs come at the beginning of a question. "What", "where", "when", "why" and "who" are all interrogative adverbs.

What - used when asking to know more about someone or something
When - used when asking about a certain time
Where - used when asking about a certain place
Who - used when asking about a particular person; used when referring to a particular person
Why - used when asking about a reason for something


·   What is your name?

·   What do you want?

·   When are they coming?

·   When is your birthday?

·   Where are you going?

·   Where are my keys?

·   Who is your teacher?

·   Who are you?

·   Why are you crying?

·   Why is she angry?
